Our in-house Harnesses and Lanyards training course has been designed specifically for professionals; namely employers and employees who perform or supervise jobs that involve working at height, as these types of tasks frequently involve the use of harnesses and lanyards.

Half-Day Course
Harness Awareness (4 hours) – £400 + VAT for up to 12 candidates at your location
Covers the following modules:
Working at Height Regulations – Brief overview of key regulations
Harness Training and Safety – Harness familiarisation, pre-use checks, and correct fitting
Fall Protection – Anchor points and barriers
Harness Equipment Maintenance – Ongoing care and maintenance
Full-Day Course
£650 + VAT for up to 12 candidates at your location
Includes all modules from the half-day course plus:
Harness Risk Assessment – Conducting risk assessments before harness use
Precautions and Safety Rescue Plan – Planning and preparing for rescues
Suspension Trauma – Understanding, preventing, and managing suspension trauma
Harness Safety Rescue – Importance of rescue techniques and safety
Course Overview
This training is designed for personnel responsible for using safety harnesses, lanyards, and associated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) or FPE (Fall Protection Equipment) in the workplace. Participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to safely work at height and use harness systems effectively.
